The Long Miles Coffee Project was started by Ben & Christy Carlson whose goal was to facilitate relationships between coffee producers and roasters. Their operation has flourished since 2013, helping farmers to thrive while providing the world with exceptional and exciting Burundian coffee! 

This naturally processed coffee was a small lot from Mutana Hill and processed at their Heza washing station. It was produced by our friends, and Passenger alumni, Swift Cup Coffee. Swift Cup extracts the soluble material from roasted coffee and then freeze-dries it, removing the water and leaving what can be rehydrated and enjoyed instantly. Stored away from moisture and light, this instant coffee will stay good indefinitely and is perfect for camping, road trips, flying on a plane, or lazy weekend mornings.
