This competition micro-lot possesses an incredible depth of sweetness that is perfectly complemented by a complex and nuanced acidity. Milk chocolate, fig, vanilla, and apple aromatics introduce a deeply pleasing cup with flavors reminiscent of wafer cookie, toasted almond, and poached pear.

Coffees produced by Ciriaco Quispe, a member of the Inambari Cooperative in the Puno region of Peru, have been fixtures of Passenger’s Reserve Lot menu since our start in 2014. This latest installment, from Ciriaco’s 2019 harvest, was awarded first place in a regional cupping competition, emphasizing once again the long-term achievements of this remarkable producer.
