Gaba Baked Oolong

A rare cultivar of tea, Gaba was developed in the 1990's by Dr. Tsushima Tojiro of Japan's National Tea Experiment Station. The cultivar was bred specifically for increased levels of gamma-Aminobutyric acid, or more simply put - Gaba. Gaba plays a role in regulating neural excitability and therefore has calming effects that promote low blood pressure, restful sleep and prevents anxiety.

Brewing Method
Using 195°F water, steep 1 gram of leaf per ounce of water for 90 seconds. For each successive infusion, steep for 30-45 seconds.
