This is our fourth consecutive year buying from Hacienda La Esmeralda in Boquete, Panama. Once again, like every year prior, we are stunned by this incredibly unique coffee from the farm that discovered the Gesha variety and continues to this day to define how that variety “should” taste.
Incredibly complex and nuanced, this lot presents bergamot and florals on the nose that lead into cup full of stone fruit, raspberry, and meyer lemon, grounded by a candied milk chocolate-like base.
