The appearance of the Mao Jian tea's leaves are commonly known as "hairy point”, a name that refers to the down-covered unopened buds used to make this tea. We are happy to have this lot on our menu as a Chinese green tea offering with both cup qualities and a price that are accessible enough to enjoy many times a day. 

Brewing Method
Using 175°F water, steep 1/2 gram of leaf per ounce of water for 1-2 minutes. For each successive infusion, steep for 20-30 seconds.
