Harvested in late April of 2017 from Da Bai Hao varietal plants growing at 1,900 meters above seal level in Jinggu, Yunnan province, this Silver Needles lot produces a stunningly sweet soup that is replete with vanilla and stone fruit aromatics. Minimally processed, white tea production includes only two steps: withering and drying. While some teas showcase the talents of the tea maker, white teas, due to their nominal processing, primarily showcase the varietal and terroir. This Silver Needles lot does both with exceptional grace.
